As part of its “Legacy Project,” Aruba Bank is honored to contribute a donation of 100,000 florins to Stichting HUNTO, a foundation dedicated to helping individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and social vulnerability.

The donation supports the “Bemoeizorg Mobile Outreach Unit” project, a pioneering initiative that brings care and hope directly to people living on the streets. The mobile bus will provide “refresh” services such as a shower, basic health care, and social guidance, delivered by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, social workers, and volunteers.

During the official handover, Edseline Leer, Head of Retail Banking at Aruba Bank, stated:
“Aruba Bank believes that every person deserves dignity and hope. Stichting HUNTO’s project shows what we can achieve when we work together for a stronger and more stable community. We are proud to help make the ‘Bemoeizorg Mobile Outreach Unit’ a reality.”

The project aims to assist more than 50 people per day, giving them an opportunity for a fresh start and reintegration into society.
Aruba Bank’s “Legacy Project” focuses on three pillars of social responsibility: community, education, and well-being, with the goal of leaving a lasting legacy for Aruba.
