Aruba Bank Celebrates the Inauguration of Its 100th Anniversary Mural in San Nicolas

Aruba Bank has inaugurated its 100th anniversary commemorative mural at its San Nicolas branch, a vibrant artwork titled “Aruba Bank 100 Years – Beacon of Hope.” The inauguration began with a “Mural Tour” through the streets of San Nicolas led by Tito Bolivar of ArtisA, showcasing the area’s rich cultural and artistic heritage.

The official ceremony was attended by Aruba Bank employees, representatives of ArtisA, former Aruba Bank directors, members of the Supervisory Board, and special guests. Mr. Alfonso Boekhoudt, Governor of Aruba, and his wife were also present. Aruba Bank management representatives, Mr. Rob de Ridder and Mrs. Sharon Fränkel-DeCuba, unveiled the mural and the historical exhibition following the mural ceremony.

Rob de Ridder, Managing Director of Aruba Bank, opened the event, followed by remarks from Renwick Heronimo and a speech by Mr. Errol de Freitas, representative of the San Nicolas Business Association, who expressed their pride in the cultural development and ongoing revitalization of the city. The Master of Ceremony, “MC Tarrick,” brought a dynamic and energetic atmosphere to the event.

The mural was created by artists Armando Goedgedrag, Paul Wong, Tristan Faro, and talented colleagues Vivienne Bruin and Roxanne Croes, with strong support from ArtisA. Aruba Bank extends its gratitude to the creative team for their dedication, talent, and passion, which brought to life an artwork symbolizing progress, resilience, and unity for Aruba.
