As part of its “Legacy Project” in connection with its 100th anniversary celebration, Aruba Bank has announced a donation of AWG 100,000 to Stichting Casa Cuna Progreso (SCCP) to support the purchase of a new 15-seater bus. This donation symbolizes Aruba Bank’s ongoing commitment to the well-being and development of the Aruban community.

Stichting Casa Cuna Progreso provides care, guidance, and protection to some of the most vulnerable members of our community — babies, young children, young mothers, and their children. Reliable transportation is essential to their daily operations, enabling access to schools, medical care, social programs, and recreational activities.

With the donation from Aruba Bank, the organization will be able to purchase a modern and safe bus, allowing staff and residents greater mobility and access to essential care and education.

Mrs. Sharon Fränkel, Managing Director of Aruba Bank, shared: “Our 100th anniversary is a moment of reflection and gratitude. Through our Legacy Project, we aim to make a real and lasting impact. We are honored to support Casa Cuna Progreso with a vehicle that will serve the children and mothers they care for with such dedication.”

The new bus will be used for school transportation, sports and recreational outings, medical and therapy appointments, and social reintegration programs.
