Aruba Bank guides entrepreneurs on business account opening at IDEA workshop

Entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized business owners recently participated in a free entrepreneurship workshop organized by IDEA as part of Phase 2 of its Masterclass Entrepreneurship Program. Hosted by the Departamento Asunto Economico (DEACI), the workshop provided practical guidance to help participants strengthen and grow their businesses.

As part of the program, representatives of Aruba Bank N.V. presented the process of opening a business bank account, including the requirements and documentation needed for different business structures such as NVs, VBAs, and Sole Proprietorships (Eenmanszaken).

Participants learned about the account opening journey, from scheduling an appointment to account activation, and received guidance on preparing complete applications to help reduce delays. The session also highlighted the convenience of online appointment scheduling and digital applications for businesses with simpler legal structures.

The workshop formed part of IDEA’s ongoing efforts to provide entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources needed to build successful businesses, with Aruba Bank contributing its expertise to make business banking more accessible for the local business community.
