In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Aruba Bank is making monthly donations of AWG 100,000 to various social, educational, environmental, and other organizations as part of its “Legacy Project.”
The goal is to create a positive and lasting legacy within the Aruban community. As part of this initiative, Aruba Bank is proud to announce a donation of AWG 100,000 to Stichting CasMarie, a local organization dedicated to the care of individuals with advanced dementia and support for their caregivers.
Stichting CasMarie, established in 2006, operates with passion and professionalism to improve the quality of life for people with dementia in Aruba. The organization offers day programs, cognitive stimulation, and emotional support for families and caregivers. CasMarie is an active member of Alzheimer’s Disease International and works closely with local institutions such as the Memory Center.
The AWG 100,000 donation will help open a third day center for individuals with advanced dementia, purchase therapeutic furniture and sensory materials, make spatial adaptations for safety and comfort, and prepare staff and programs to accommodate more clients each day in a safe and structured environment.
According to Sharon Fränkel, Managing Director of Aruba Bank:
“We believe that a bank should not only provide financial services, but also play an important role in the human and sustainable development of its community. We are honored to help realize CasMarie’s vision and contribute to a more empathetic and accessible care system, especially for our elderly.”
This donation reflects a deep commitment to continue investing in the well-being of the most vulnerable sectors of our community.
Aruba Bank is proud to be part of the meaningful work carried out by the dedicated team at CasMarie.
