Aruba Bank Walk & Run 2025 concludes with a generous donation to YMCA Aruba

The 19th edition of the Aruba Bank Walk & Run wrapped up with great energy and massive community participation. Over the course of four days, 2,600 participants ran and walked various routes, covering more than 20 kilometers in a spirited and goal-driven environment.

Aruba Bank dedicates a portion of the registration proceeds to a local foundation that makes a positive impact in our community. For 2025, we are proud to have selected YMCA Aruba as the recipient of this donation.

YMCA Aruba leads an after-school program focused on children, offering a safe and educational space where they can develop their talents, do homework, and participate in sports and creative activities while their parents are at work.

Edseline Leer, Head of Retail Banking, and Roxanne Croes, Sr. Marketing Officer at Aruba Bank, visited YMCA to officially present the donation. Mrs. Jennifer Caminata, Director of YMCA Aruba, together with Byanca Alvarado, expressed that the donation will help strengthen the vacation program they are planning. “We are deeply grateful for the financial support, but even more so for the recognition of the importance of investing in the future of our children,” said Mrs. Caminata.
