Why is Aruba Bank replacing Maestro cards?

We are replacing Maestro cards as part of a global transition by Mastercard, which is discontinuing the Maestro system. Since you already have a Mastercard Debit you will not experience any major changes.

Can I still use my Maestro card?

Yes, you can continue using your Mastercard Debit with Maestro card until you pick up your new Mastercard Debit only card or until your card with the Maestro logo expires.

Where do I activate my new card?

The new card will be activated once the customer completes their first transaction using their EXISTING PIN. There is no need to call the bank to activate the new card. Please keep this in mind!
Once the new card is activated, you can no longer use the old one.
